Cars are symbolic of individual freedom and isolation whereas biking is a communal activity, and everyone is safer and happier biking together. If only our government saw it that way too!Andy C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09594193387964718173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6645035685408630604.post-73656954767162532452011-07-02T09:15:35.587-04:002011-07-02T09:15:35.587-04:00Laura - I'm glad you liked it. In North America, it's much more typical to see moms in minivans!Andy C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09594193387964718173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6645035685408630604.post-73041208802662195042011-07-02T09:12:52.638-04:002011-07-02T09:12:52.638-04:00Emily - She'll get more if bike sharing is int...Emily - She'll get more if bike sharing is introduced to more Chinese cities. Just imagine, Hangzhou is actually a mid-sized city for that country! As more and more Chinese begin to be able to afford cars, it's critical that public bikes be accessible to ease congestion and improve air quality.Andy C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09594193387964718173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6645035685408630604.post-74414499435897527202011-07-01T23:53:20.312-04:002011-07-01T23:53:20.312-04:00I am so glad there are awesome alternatives to put...I am so glad there are awesome alternatives to putting more cars on the roads over there!
