Signing Off

Well, there's no point beating around the bush, so here it is: I'm going to stop writing new content for this blog. Originally I thought it was a good idea to cut back from bi-weekly posts to much less frequent updates, writing only when something comes across my virtual desk that really gets to me. Now I realize that even that doesn't quite fit with the direction I'm heading in for this year, so it's time to call it quits. Thanks for sticking with me for 209 posts and for sharing your opinions in the comments!

It's a nice planet - can we keep it?

  1. I'm sorry to hear that, Andrea. I was a latecomer to your blog, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading it for the short time that I did. All the best with your other endeavours! I hope you'll continue to drop by Batshite. :)

  4. Scott - Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. And don't worry, I will definitely continue to follow you on Batshite. Glad you're switching to less frequent but more in-depth updates!

  5. Thank you Lynn! My direction is... away from my computer, really. I spend too much time reading and writing, and in general, preaching to the converted, and not enough time actually DOING something. Time to turn theory into practice, you know? In order to have more time for new stuff, some old stuff has to go.

  6. Aw, thanks Marc. We can always turn to Dr. Seuss for telling it like it is. I'm glad I overcame my initial fears to start this blog. I'm glad I had the courage to keep going. I'm glad I was able to ride out the many waves of "greeny blues". And now I'm glad to move on to other things.

  8. Jennifer - I'll still be around! I'm going to keep up with a small number of blogs, the ones I've liked the most over the past year and a half, and naturally, yours is one of those. :)

  13. Sorry to see this Andrea, although I certainly understand how much time this blog thing sucks up... I have enjoyed your posts a lot, and have also enjoyed knowing that there is someone out there in the world that shares so many of the same views and ideals as me. It is very comforting to know you are not alone... All the best and keep in touch.
